A two-year project often starts with a video seen one evening
A new home or an extension is the biggest purchase of a lifetime, and the decision ripens over months. Advertising has to be there at the start, then all through the thinking.
Creating the project
Most future customers are not yet searching for "house extension": they just find the house too small since the second child arrived. A video of a finished job, a tour of a completed extension, a customer telling their story, and the idea takes shape.
That is Meta's ground: showing the result to homeowners in your area, before they search.
Staying present while they think
Between the first idea and the signature come questions about budget, permits and timing. Retargeting lets you come back to people who watched a video or visited your site, with the answer to their next question: how much, how long, what paperwork.
Planning rules are a good topic: depending on size and location, an extension needs a simple notification or full planning permission. Explaining it simply shows you know what you are talking about.
Capturing those who compare
When the project is ripe, the person compares builders on Google. A campaign on precise searches in your area puts you on the list at the right moment. I run both, and we look at what a signed appointment costs in each case.
